Four people – aged 56, 60, 69, and 73 – infected with COVID-19 have died in Albania in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of victims to 458.
301 new cases have been found, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the pandemic to 17,651. This is a record high in daily new cases in Albania.
58 people have recovered, bringing the total to 10,225.
There are currently 255 patients hospitalized with the virus, 22 are in intensive care, 5 are intubated in aggravated condition.
The distribution of new cases is as follows: Tiranë (144), Korçë (30), Fier (27), Vlorë (26), Berat (12), Elbasan (10), Durrës (7), Gramsh (6), Patos (5), Kavajë (4), Dibër (3), Roskovec (3), two cases in Shkodër, Devoll, Has, Mallakastër, Sarandë, Tepelenë, Klos, Skrapar, Ura Vajgurore, and one case in Krujë, Kamëz, Gjirokastër, Pogradec, Bulqizë, Memaliaj.
6,968 cases are still active in the country: Tiranë (3430), Durrës (700), Shkodër (473), Lezhë (349), Elbasan (302), Korçë (432), Fier (444), Vlorë (270), Kukës (176), Berat (215), Dibër (91), Gjirokastër (86).
