The Albanian Police have arrested 14 people suspected of cannabis cultivation in Tirana.
On Sunday, police made the arrests following a 4-month investigation, and subsequent arrest warrants issued by the Tirana Court.
The following security measures were imposed on the 14 arrested men: prison arrest for eight suspects, house arrest for four, and obligation to appear before the court for two of them.
They face charges for having cultivated cannabis in several villages near the capital, which the police destroyed in the June-August period.
