EU Ambassador to Albania, Luigi Soreca has commemorated the 26 November 2019 earthquake that claimed 51 lives and left thousands homeless.
In a video posted on Twitter, he shows the aftermath of the quake as well as EU efforts to support Albania.

“On 26 November 2019, Albania was hit by a devastating earthquake. One year after, we remember the 51 victims of that terrible day and the solidarity of the EU and Member States towards the Albanian people. Now we work to build back together,” he wrote.
