Fifteen people infected with COVID-19 have died in Albania in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 1055. The victims’ age varies between 57 and 77.
787 new cases have been found in the meantime, bringing the total number of cases to 51,424.
517 people have recovered, 26,898 since the beginning of the pandemic.
There are currently 393 patients hospitalized with the virus, of which 26 are in intensive care, 11 are intubated in aggravated condition.
The distribution of new cases is as follows: Tirana (267), Berat (43), Durrës (41), Shkodër (40), Vlorë (38), Sarandë (38), Lushnje (27), Elbasan (25), Fier (24), Korçë (23), Lezhë (19), Krujë (18), Kavajë (15), Mallakastër (15), Pogradec (15), Kurbin (13), Devoll (11), Librazhd (11), Gjirokastër (10), Tepelenë (10), Tropojë (9), Malësi e Madhe (9), Gramsh (9), Has (8), Përmet (8), Dibër (8), Mat (7), Mirditë (6), Delvinë (6), Kukës (3), Peqin (3), Pukë (2), Kamëz (2), Kuçovë (2), one caase in Kolonjë, Skrapar and Shijak.
23,471 cases are still active in the country: Tirana (12594), Fier (1743), Durrës (1395), Korça (1090), Vlora (1157), Shkodra (1254), Elbasan (986), Berat (925), Lezha (920), Gjirokastra (555), Kukës (458), and Dibër (394).
