Fourteen people infected with COVID-19 have died in Albania in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 1088. The victims’ age varies between 45 and 89.
461 new cases have been found in the meantime, bringing the total number of cases to 53,004.
290 people have recovered, 28,121 since the beginning of the pandemic.
There are currently 391 patients hospitalized with the virus, of which 24 are in intensive care, 9 are intubated in aggravated condition.
The distribution of new cases is as follows: Tirana (192), Shkodër (65), Fier (42), Vlorë (33), Durrës (19), Dibër (15), Berat (14), Korçë (11), Elbasan (10), Lushnje (10), Lezhë (6), Malësi e Madhe (5), Kavaja (5), Gjirokastra (4), Kurbin (3), Kamëz (3), Peqin (3), Klos (3), Kuçovë (3), Vau Dejës (2), Mallakastër (2), Tropojë (2), Kukës (2), Krujë (2), one case in Skrapar, Bulqizë, Tepelenë, Mat, Rrogozhinë.
23,794 cases are still active in the country: Tirana (12801), Fier (1734), Durrës (1340), Korça (1102), Vlora (1119), Shkodra (1337), Elbasan (981), Berat (962), Lezha (939), Gjirokastra (565), Kukës (487), and Dibër (427).
