Kosovo Supports Croatian Earthquake Victims with €100 Thousand

Kosovo allocated 100 thousand euros to Croatia, which was hit by a strong earthquake this week.

The Government of Kosovo announced through a press release that it has approved the request of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora for the allocation of these funds.

“With this decision, the Government of the Republic of Kosovo is aligned with the solidarity states, which are helping the Republic of Croatia in repairing the damage caused by the earthquake,” the statement said.

Seven people were reported dead so far on Tuesday when an earthquake with magnitude of 6.4 hit Croatia. The epicenter was near the city of Petrinja.

Albania also donated EUR 250,000 to support Croatia.
