Six people infected with COVID-19 have died in Albania in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 1199. The victims’ age varies between 59 and 76.
185 new cases have been found in the meantime, bringing the total number of cases to 59,623.
348 people have recovered; 34,996 since the beginning of the pandemic.
There are currently 274 patients hospitalized with the virus, of which 28 are in intensive care, 7 are intubated in aggravated condition.
The distribution of new cases is as follows: Tirana (31), Shkodër (19), Vlorë (19), Sarandë (12), Kurbin (9), Lezhë (9), Durrës (8), Kavajë (8), Cerrik (8), Kamëz (6), Kukës (4), Lushnje (4), Dibër (4), Fier (3), Berat (3), Vorë (3), Patos (3), two cases in Krujë, Mirditë, Rrogozhinë, Librazhd, Mat, Gjirokastër, Delvinë, Tepelenë, Vau i Dejës, and one case in Korçë, Elbasan, Has, Pukë, Mallakastër, Përmet, Ura Vajgurore, Fushë Arrëz, Belsh, Malësi e Madhe, Kolonjë, Klos, Skrapar, Konispol.
23,428 cases are still active in the country: Tirana (13577), Fier (1668), Shkodra (1315), Durrës (1187), Vlora (942), Korça (946), Lezha (901), Elbasan (874), Berat (770), Gjirokastra (490), Kukës (396), and Dibër (362).
