After Tirana, vaccination against COVID-19 will take place in Vlora and Shkodra.
Eugena Tomini, Head of Surveillance and Epidemic Intelligence Service at IPH said in an interview with ABC News, that in the second stage of the roll-out, vaccination will be focussed in two of the biggest cities in the country.
” Vlora and Shkodra are being prepared. It is important to start vaccination in a centralized way. Shkodra and Vlora will be distributed according to the schedule in a second stage.
Tomini said that refrigerators that reach temperatures of -70 degrees Celsius are provided for 30,000 doses. The Pfizer vaccine must be stored at -70 degrees at all times.
