Eleven people infected with COVID-19 have died in Albania in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 1,210. The victims’ age varies between 44 and 84.
660 new cases have been found in the meantime, bringing the total number of cases to 60,283.
555 people have recovered; 35,551 since the beginning of the pandemic.
There are currently 287 patients hospitalized with the virus, of which 23 are in intensive care, 6 are intubated in aggravated condition.
The distribution of new cases is as follows: Tirana (241, Sarandë (44), Durrës (36), Lezhë (29), Lushnje (28), Vlorë (26), Fier (21), Shkodër (17), Kurbin (16), Elbasan (16), Kavajë (15), Dibër (15), Kuçovë (14), Korçë (12), Kukës (10), Mat (10), Delvinë (10), Gramsh (8), Berat (7), Mallakastër (7), Cerrik (70, Has (6), Rrogozhinë (5), Librazhd (5), Pogradec (5), Krujë (5), Gjirokastër (4), three cases in Pukë, Kamëz, Përmet, Selenicë, Malësi e Madhe, Peqin, Shijak, Poliçan, two cases in Mirditë, Tepelenë, Belsh, Himarë, Klos, Patos, and one case in Tropojë, Ura Vajgurore, Divjakë, Prrenjas, Skrapar.
23,522 cases are still active in the country: Tirana (13650), Fier (1687), Shkodra (1330), Durrës (1190), Vlora (955), Lezha (925), Korça (917), Elbasan (876), Berat (735), Gjirokastra (472), Kukës (399), and Dibër (386).
