Seven people infected with COVID-19 have died in Albania in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 1,217. The victims’ age varies between 44 and 84.
725 new cases have been found in the meantime, bringing the total number of cases to 61,008.
551 people have recovered; 36,102 since the beginning of the pandemic.
There are currently 273 patients hospitalized with the virus, of which 18 are in intensive care, 3 are intubated in aggravated condition.
The distribution of new cases is as follows: Tirana (252), Durrës (43), Mat (38), Lezhë (36), Vlorë (34), Shkodër (30), Fier (27), Sarandë (23), Lushnje (18), Pogradec (17), Berat (17), Skrapar (16), Kavajë (15), Elbasan (15), Dibër (14), Kurbin (12), Bulqizë (12), Krujë (11), Tropojë (8), Korçë (7), Patos (7), Kukës (6), Cërrik (6), Mallakastër (5), Rrogozhinë (4), Gjirokastër (4), Klos (4), Gramsh (4), three cases in Mirditë, Kamëz, Delvinë, Vau i Dejës, Shijak, Kuçovë, to cases in Peqin, Përmet, Devoll, Has, Pukë, Librazhd, Tepelenë, Malësi e Madhe, Kolonjë, Vorë, and one case in Divjakë dhe Libohovë.
23,689 cases are still active in the country: Tirana (13753), Fier (1715), Shkodra (1325), Durrës (1203), Vlora (951), Lezha (942), Korça (878), Elbasan (865), Berat (754), Gjirokastra (454), Dibër (451), and Kukës (398).
