Seven people infected with COVID-19 have died in Albania in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 1,230. The victims’ age varies between 57 and 84.
673 new cases have been found in the meantime, bringing the total number of cases to 62,378.
436 people have recovered; 36,971 since the beginning of the pandemic.
There are currently 260 patients hospitalized with the virus, of which 29 are in intensive care, 6 are intubated in aggravated condition.
The distribution of new cases is as follows: Tirana (238), Durrës (44), Vlorë (38), Shkodër (28), Lushnje (23), Lezhë (20), Mat (19), Berat (18), Sarandë (17), Kurbin (16), Korçë (16), Elbasan (15), Kamëz (15), Fier (13), Krujë (12), Kavajë (12), Kukës (11), Librazhd (8), Bulqizë (8), Pukë (7), Mirditë (7), Gramsh (7), Peqin (6), Vau i Dejës (5), Dibër (5), Malësi e Madhe (5), Klos (5), Skrapar (5), Cerrik (5), Rrogozhinë (4), Mallakastër (4), Tepelenë (4), Shijak (4), Patos (4), three cases in Gjirokastër, Pogradec, Përmet, Delvinë, Vorë, two cases in Fushë Arrëz, Konispol, and one case in Has, Divjakë, Roskovec, Himarë, Kuçovë, Poliçan.
24,177 cases are still active in the country: Tirana (14000), Fier (1747), Shkodra (1326), Durrës (1258), Lezha (980), Vlora (921), Korça (911), Elbasan (865), Berat (782), Dibër (532), Gjirokaster (452),and Kukës (403).
