Nine people infected with COVID-19 have died in Albania in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 1,324. The victims’ age varies between 29 and 84.
538 new cases have been found in the meantime, bringing the total number of cases to 72,812.
401 people have recovered; 44,291 since the beginning of the pandemic.
There are currently 282 patients hospitalized with the virus, of which 19 are in intensive care, 4 are intubated in aggravated condition.
The distribution of new cases is as follows: Tiranë (208), Durrës (39), Lushnje (36), Vlorë (28), Fier (27), Elbasan (20), Mirditë (19), Shkodër (18), Kamëz (11), Gramsh (11), Kurbin (10), Lezhë (9), Mallakastër (8), Divjakë (8), Kuçovë (7), Kavajë (6), Mat (6), Gjirokastër (6), Sarandë (6), Has (5), Delvinë (5), Dibër (5), Peqin (5), Tepelenë (4), Ura Vajgurore (4), Prrenjas (4), Vorë (4), Vau i Dejës (3), two cases in Krujë, Pukë, Rrogozhinë, Malësi e Mdhe, Kolonjë, Poliçan, and one case in Kukës, Librazhd, Përmet, Skrapar.
27,197 cases remain active in the country: Tirana (15968), Fier (2007), Durrës (1481), Shkodër (1359), Elbasan (1147), Vlorë (1057), Lezhë (967), Korçë (916), Berat (852), Gjirokaster (537), Dibër (502), and Kukës (404).
