Eleven people infected with COVID-19 have died in Albania in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 1,350. The victims’ age varies between 57 and 87.
887 new cases have been found in the meantime, bringing the total number of cases to 75,454. This is a record in daily cases in Albania since the beginning of the pandemic.
523 people have recovered; 45,906 since the beginning of the pandemic.
There are currently 292 patients hospitalized with the virus, of which 20 are in intensive care, 7 are intubated in aggravated condition.
The distribution of new cases is as follows: Tiranë (330), Durrës (56), Vlorë (55), Lushnje (43), Fier (38), Elbasan (34), Berat (23), Kurbin (21), Shkodër (19), Kavajë (18), Krujë (17), Lezhë (17), Kamëz (16), Mallakastër (14), Gramsh (14), Kukës (13), Gjirokastër (12), Sarandë (12), Kuçovë (11), Librazhd (10), Pogradec (8), Mirditë (7), Delvinë (7), Malësi e Madhe (7), Shijak (7), Mat (6), Divjakë (6), Dibër (6), Skrapar (6), Patos (5), Korçë (4), Has (4), Ura Vajgurore (4), Vau i Dejës (4), Vorë (4), Rrogozhinë (3), Peqin (3), Poliçan (3), two cases in Tropojë, Tepelenë, Belsh, Prrenjas, Bulqizë, Himarë, Klos, and once case in Devoll, Selenicë, Rroskovec, Cërrik, Këlcyrë, Libohovë.
28,198 cases remain active in the country: Tirana (16336), Fier (2154), Durrës (1547), Shkodër (1380), Elbasan (1263), Vlorë (1204), Lezhë (1029), Korçë (912), Berat (917), Gjirokaster (567), Dibër (442), and Kukës (447).
