Albania COVID-19 Update 7 February: 14 Dead, 1124 Infections, 569 Recoveries

Fourteen people infected with COVID-19 have died in Albania in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 1,460. The victims’ age varies between 35 and 86.

The number of new cases today was 1,124, a record since the beginning of the pandemic, during which 85,336 cases have been registered in total.

Those recovered in the last 24 hours are 569 people; 51,444 since the beginning of the pandemic.

There are currently 437 patients hospitalized with the virus, of which 31 in intensive care, and 12 intubated in aggravated condition.

The distribution of new cases is as follows: Tiranë (408), Lushnje (97), Kavajë (79), Elbasan (72), Shkodër (32), Fier (31), Kurbin (31), Mallakastër (31), Krujë (27), Tepelenë (27), Lezhë (22), Berat (22), Kukës (20), Durrës (17), Vlorë (17), Sarandë (16), Ura Vajgurore (14), Gramsh (14), Kuçovë (12), Librazhd (11), Malësi e Madhe (11), Mirditë (9), Mat (9), Korçë (7), Divjakë (7), Has (6), Kamëz (6), Gjirokastër (6), Peqin (6), Patos (6), Pukë (5), Përmet (5), Delvinë (4), Dibër (4), Vau i Dejës (3), Bulqizë (3), Memaliaj (3), two cases in Devoll, Tropojë, Pogradec, Selenicë, Himarë, Kolonjë, Shijak, Cerrik, Konispol, and ine case in Belsh, Prrenjas, Roskovec, Klos, Poliçan, Libohovë.

32,432 cases remain active in the country: Tirana (18708), Fier (2789), Durrës (1721), Elbasan (1582), Shkodër (1544), Vlorë (1454), Lezhë (1162),  Korçë (989), Berat (911), Gjirokaster (675), Kukës (484), and Dibër (413).
