Fourteen infected with COVID-19 have died in Albania in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 1,517. The victims’ age varies between 52 and 91.
There were 1,105 new cases today, while total cases have amounted to 88,776.
Those recovered in the last 24 hours are 746 people; 54,362 since the beginning of the pandemic.
There are currently 492 patients hospitalized with the virus, of which 32 in intensive care, and 19 intubated in aggravated condition.
The distribution of new cases is as follows: Tiranë (399), Vlorë (113), Sarandë (82), Fier (73), Krujë (42), Elbasan (36), Lezhë (31), Mallakastër (28), Lushnje (27), Kuçovë (26), Berat (22), Kurbin (20), Peqin (16), Durrës (15), Kukës (14), Mat (13), Dibër (13), Gjirokastër (12), Kavajë (11), Kolonjë (10), Shkodër (9), Gramsh (8), Korçë (7), Has (7), Kamëz (6), Pogradec (6), Bulqize (5), Skrapar (5), Devoll (4), Librazhd (4), Delvinë (4), Ura Vajgurore (4), Patos (4), Tepelenë (3), two cases in Mirditë, Përmet, Vau i Dejës, Malësi e Madhe, Himarë, Memaliaj, Finiq, Maliq, Libohovë, and one case in Divjake, Fushe Arrez, Selenicë, Belsh, Roskovec, Klos, Cërrik, Konispol.
33,897 cases remain active in the country: Tirana (19556), Fier (2872), Durrës (1737), Elbasan (11489), Shkodër (1549), Vlorë (1650), Lezhë (1149), Korçë (1049), Berat (936), Gjirokaster (732), Kukës (478), and Dibër (355).
