Fourteen infected with COVID-19 have died in Albania in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 1,531. The victims’ age varies between 40 and 82.
There were 1,059 new cases today, while total cases have amounted to 90,835.
In Albania, 67 percent of deaths and 77 percent of cases have occurred from November on.
Those recovered in the last 24 hours are 881 people; 55,243 since the beginning of the pandemic.
There are currently 502 patients hospitalized with the virus, of which 33 in intensive care, and 19 intubated in aggravated condition.
The distribution of new cases is as follows: Tiranë (363), Elbasan (103), Kavajë (98), Lushnje (75), Berat (52), Kuçovë (50), Durrës (44), Krujë (38), Vlorë (28), Shkodër (25), Gjirokastër (23), Fier (16), Librazhd (15), Gramsh (9), Mat (9), Përmet (8), Lezhë (8), Kukës (8), Cërrik (7), Kamëz (7), Korçë (7), Skrapar (6), Tepelenë (6), Delvinë (5), Peqin (4), Malësi e Madhe (4), Mallakastër (4), Pukë (4), Patos (3), Vorë (3), Kolonjë (3), Kurbin (3), two cases in Himarë, Bulqizë, Dibër, Belsh, Pogradec, Devoll, and once case in Poliçan, Kelcyrë, Libohovë, Maliq, Selenicë, Fushë Arrëz, Vau i Dejës, Ura Vajgurore, Has.
34,061 cases remain active in the country: Tirana (19,929), Fier (2,927), Durrës (1,677), Elbasan (1,515), Shkodër (1,510), Vlorë (1,766), Lezhë (1,108), Korçë (1,030), Berat (1,011), Gjirokaster (761), Kukës (470), and Dibër (357).
