Twelve infected with COVID-19 have died in Albania in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 1,555. The victims’ age varies between 35 and 78.
There were 1,088 new cases today, while total cases have amounted to 93,075.
Those recovered in the last 24 hours are 781 people; 56,764 since the beginning of the pandemic.
There are currently 531 patients hospitalized with the virus, of which 32 in intensive care, and 11 intubated in aggravated condition.
4,756 cases remain active in the country: Tirana (20,366), Fier (2,991), Durrës (1,782), Elbasan (1,403), Shkodër (1,531), Vlorë (1,804), Lezhë (1,150), Korçë (1,018), Berat (1,031), Gjirokaster (863), Kukës (452), and Dibër (365).
