Twelve people infected with COVID-19 have died in Albania in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 1,577. The victims’ age varies between 50 and 76.
There were 775 new cases today, while total cases have amounted to 93,850.
Those recovered in the last 24 hours are 972 people; 57,736 since the beginning of the pandemic.
There are currently 547 patients hospitalized with the virus, of which 23 in intensive care, and 11 intubated in aggravated condition.
The distribution of new cases is as follows: Tiranë (298), Lushnje (74), Vlorë (64), Kavajë (58), Shkodër (32), Korçë (30), Sarandë (29), Berat (25), Fier (22), Durrës (20), Mallakastër (18), Delvinë (15), Kamëz (9), Kolonjë (9), Kukës (6), Pukë (6), Mirditë (5), Peqin (5), Gramsh (5), Devoll (4), Tepelenë (4), Kuçovë (4), Vorë (4), Gjirokastër (3), Ura Vajgurore (3), Dibër (3), Skrapar (3), two cases in Kurbin, Lezhë, Has, Librazhd, Përmet, Poliçan, and one case in Tropojë, Mat, Pogradec, Shijak, Këlcyrë.
34,547 cases remain active in the country: Tirana (19556), Fier (2872), Durrës (1737), Elbasan (11489), Shkodër (1549), Vlorë (1650), Lezhë (1149), Korçë (1049), Berat (936), Gjirokaster (732), Kukës (478), and Dibër (355).
