Seventeen people infected with COVID-19 have died in Albania in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 1,653. The victims’ age varies between 48 and 83.
There were 1,153 new cases today, while total cases have amounted to 99,062.
Those recovered in the last 24 hours are 928 people; 62,533 since the beginning of the pandemic.
There are currently 606 patients hospitalized with the virus, of which 35 in intensive care, and 11 intubated in aggravated condition.

34,876 cases remain active in the country: Tirana (21,256), Fier (2,883), Durrës (1,804), Vlorë (1,771), Shkodër (1,440), Elbasan (1,086), Korçë (1,000), Lezhë (999), Berat (974), Gjirokaster (903), Kukës (399), and Dibër (361).
