Albania COVID-19 Update 27 February: 19 Deaths, 986 Infections, 962 Recoveries

Nineteen people infected with COVID-19 have died in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 1,775. The victims’ age varies between 65 and 89.

There were 986 new cases today, while total cases have amounted to 106,215.

Those recovered in the last 24 hours are 962 people; 68,969 since the beginning of the pandemic.

The number of vaccine doses administered so far is 12,467, of which 1,331 doses today.

There are currently 647 patients hospitalized with the virus, of which 41 in intensive care, and 9 intubated in aggravated condition.

35,471 cases remain active in the country: Tirana (22,853), Fier (2,641), Durrës (1,664), Vlorë (1,748), Shkodër (1,337), Gjirokaster (1,026), Berat (877), Korçë (916), Elbasan (887), Lezhë (819), Dibër (368), Kukës (335)
