Twenty one people infected with COVID-19 have died in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 1,939. The victims’ age varies between 35 and 84.
There were 819 new cases today, while total cases have amounted to 112,897.
Those recovered in the last 24 hours are 838 people; 75,190 since the beginning of the pandemic.
The number of vaccine doses administered so far is 19,663, of which 306 doses today.
There are currently 647 patients hospitalized with the virus, of which 31 in intensive care, and 8 intubated in aggravated condition.
35,768 cases remain active in the country: Tirana (23,425), Fier (2,566), Vlorë (1,721), Durrës (1,682), Shkodër (1,352), Gjirokaster (1,209), Korçë (942), Elbasan (778).
