Fifteen people infected with COVID-19 have died in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 2,045. The victims’ age varies between 54 and 82.
There were 653 new cases today, while total cases have amounted to 117 thousand.
Those recovered in the last 24 hours are 662 people; 80,483 since the beginning of the pandemic.
The number of vaccine doses administered so far is 24,887 of which 234 doses today.
There are currently 501 patients hospitalized with the virus, of which 23 in intensive care, and 7 intubated in aggravated condition.
34,946 cases remain active in the country: Tirana (23,290), Fier (2,572), Vlorë (1,614), Durrës (1,640), Shkodër (1,337), Gjirokaster (1,224), Korçë (912), Elbasan (565), Lezhë (744), Berat (385), Dibër (352), and Kukës (311).
