Eight people infected with COVID-19 have died in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 2,145. The victims’ age varies between 63 and 91.
There were 344 new cases today, while total cases have amounted to 121,544.
Those recovered in the last 24 hours are 699 people; 85,846 since the beginning of the pandemic.
The number of vaccine doses administered so far is 48,229 of which 1,714 doses today.
There are currently 399 patients hospitalized with the virus, of which 21 in intensive care, and 7 intubated in aggravated condition.
33,553 cases remain active in the country: Tirana (22,823), Fier (2,642), Durrës (1,476), Vlorë (1,364), Shkodër (1,276), Gjirokaster (1,228), Korçë (794), Lezhë (637), Elbasan (463), Kukës (341), Dibër (337), Berat (172).
