Fifteen people infected with COVID-19 have died in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 2,171. The victims’ age varies between 59 and 87.
There were 448 new cases today, while total cases have amounted to 122,295.
Those recovered in the last 24 hours are 696 people; 87,193 since the beginning of the pandemic.
The number of vaccine doses administered so far is 53,992 of which 2,302 doses today.
There are currently 357 patients hospitalized with the virus, of which 19 in intensive care, and 7 intubated in aggravated condition.
32,931 cases remain active in the country: Tirana (22,556), Fier (2,605), Durrës (1,424), Vlorë (1,309), Shkodër (1,233), Gjirokaster (1,258), Korçë (764), Lezhë (569), Elbasan (426), Kukës (344), Dibër (327), Berat (116).
