Eleven people infected with COVID-19 have died in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 2,227. The victims’ age varies between 51 and 83.
There were 304 new cases today, while total cases have amounted to 124,723.
Those recovered in the last 24 hours are 593 people; 90,617 since the beginning of the pandemic.
There are currently 293 patients hospitalized with the virus, of which 16 in intensive care, and 7 intubated in aggravated condition.
31,879 cases remain active in the country: Tirana (22,083), Fier (2,607), Durrës (1,309), Vlorë (1,107), Shkodër (1,199), Gjirokaster (1,242), Korçë (779), Lezhë (419), Elbasan (387), Kukës (359), Dibër (329), Berat (59).
