Eight people infected with COVID-19 have died in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 2,235. The victims’ age varies between 46 and 93.
There were 434 new cases today, while total cases have amounted to 125,157.
Those recovered in the last 24 hours are 654 people; 91,271 since the beginning of the pandemic.
There are currently 271 patients hospitalized with the virus, of which 9 in intensive care, and 2 intubated in aggravated condition.
31,651 cases remain active in the country: Tirana (22,035), Fier (2,598), Durrës (1,297), Vlorë (981), Shkodër (1,213), Gjirokaster (1,240), Korçë (768), Lezhë (358), Elbasan (406), Kukës (361), Dibër (330), Berat (64).
