Albania received 25 thousand Russian Sputnik V vaccine doses on Friday.
Prime Minister Edi Rama reiterated the government’s goal to inoculate a total of 500 thousand people within May with at least one dose of any of the vaccines administered in the country.
“Vaccination rates will continue to increase and the target of 1/2 million [people] vaccinated by May will be reached in the first half of the month,” Rama wrote on Facebook.
A total of 453,255 people have received at least one shot of the four vaccines administered in the country: Sivonac, Prizer, Sputnik V, AstraZeneca.
