The government of the United States has delivered 55 armored vehicles to Kosovo as a part of an American-led donation to the Kosovo Army.
Kosovo’s President Vjosa Osmani thanked US President Joe Biden, Ambassador Phillip Kosnett, the US Army, and the people of America for their kindness. The vehicles, M1117 ASVs were presented in a ceremony that was attended by Osmani, Prime Minister Albin Kurti, and the Supreme Commander of the Kosovo Army.
Osmani said she hoped helicopters will be delivered in the next phase. She also then wrote on Twitter that “the United States continues to show the strength and sincerity of our partnership. With their support, our army continues to go from strength to strength.”
