Kosovo Sees Deadliest Week of COVID-19 Pandemic

Kosovo saw the deadliest week of the COVID-19 pandemic since its beginning in March 2020.

Health authorities registered 21 deaths on Saturday, bringing the weekly death toll to 184.

Meanwhile, 1,278 people tested positive to COVID-19, roughly 12 percent of those tested.

Those still infected amount to 26,534, while 1,248 people fully recovered on Saturday.

Kosovo has fully vaccinated 306,287 people or 17 percent of the population.
