France, Switzerland, and Greece have tightened travelling restrictions in the hope of curbing the spread of the Omicron variant.
All travelers visiting France for non-essential reasons must be vaccinated and provide a negative PCR test. Unvaccinated adults can only enter the country for essential reasons, and in addition to a negative PRC test, they must also self-isolate for seven days upon entering France.
Meanwhile, Greece has temporarily banned non-essential travel from a number of countries, although Albanian citizens and residents are exempt. They can enter Greece provided they have filled an online application and have been vaccinated, or can show a negative PCR test.
Switzerland has made negative PCR tests mandatory for all travelers, even if they have been vaccinated. In addition, visitors must submit to a second COVID-19 test within four to seven days from entering the country.
