Kosovo has tightened its pandemic measures as the country recorded an unprecedented 2,943 daily cases on Friday (21 January).
Between 22 January and 4 February, curfew will begin at 10 p.m. and last until 5 a.m. Restaurants and cafés will also be required to close at 9 p.m. Gyms will shut down until further notice.
Anyone entering Kosovo will be required to show proof of vaccination, including boosters. Alternatively, they can show proof they have received two doses of the vaccine and a negative PCR test taken no later than 48 hours before entering Kosovo.
Unvaccinated Kosovo citizens who enter the country are required to quarantine for seven days.
Vaccination or a negative PCR test has also become mandatory for all employees, including those employed in the private sector.
