According to several media, three masked and armed people attacked the village elder of Rraboshta in Lezha, a supporter of the LSI.
This is the third incident in a few days in which a LSI supporter is attacked. On Friday, a LSI representative in Berat was attacked, while the same happened a few days earlier 18-year-old LSI supporter in Fier.
President-Elect Ilir Meta threatened to arm his supporters should the perpetrators in these cases not be found by the police. During a meeting with the village elder in Rraboshta, Meta declared:
I will say it, I will arm the people if the police doesn’t catch those thugs. […] Don’t force the people to gather in front of the police station. When the people gather it shows the police director his place. The police director is here to protect the citizens.
