Two Coronavirus-infected patients, 69 and 77, died on Tuesday at the Infectious Diseases Hospital in Tirana, bringing the toll to 15 deaths.
The Ministry of Health reported that the 77-year-old man died of a stroke. He had been hospitalized since March 17, and also suffered from diabetes, kidney and heart diseases.
The 69-year-old man could not survive after being intubated for three days. He had been in hospital since March 23, after he was diagnosed with Covid-19. Authorities did not specify if he suffered from any other illness.
Albania has reported 15 victims and 243 cases diagnosed with Coronavirus as of March 31.
