The total of confirmed cases of coronavirus in Kosovo has reached 170, with 5 cases confirmed today.
The National Institute of Public Health said in a statement that 13 tests were carried out on people who had asked for medical attention.
A 65-year-old patient arrived in a critical health condition and passed away. He tested positive for coronavirus in a post-mortem exam, bringing the death toll to four (4).
All four victims had other underlining health conditions.
24 patients have been cured in total in the coutry.
Tests have been conducted on 2,106 people in Kosovo in the period between February 8 and April 7.
Coronavirus has spread to 20 municipalities, with most of the infected being Malisheva (62), Pristina (20) and Gjilan (17).
