The number of those infected with Covid-19 in Albania has reached 416, with 7 new cases in Tirana and Shkoder in the last 24 hours.
On Thursday, a 72-year-old woman died due to coronavirus-related health complications, bringing the death toll to 23. She had been in intensive care for several days, and had other underlining diseases, including chronic kidney disease, thyroid gland disease and hypertension.
The number of cured has reached 182, or about 45 percent of the total cases, with 17 patients testing negative in the last 24 hours.
Over the last 24 hours, 162 tests were administered on those suspected of having the virus. A total of 3385 cases have been tested in all, 416 of which were positive.
The Ministry stated that there are 56 patients in total are hospitalized. 50 patients are in the Infectious Diseases Hospital, 6 of which are in intensive care, and 6 are at the Sanatorium Hospital, 4 of them are intubated.
Most cases of the infection have been recorded in Tirana, Shkoder and Durres.

The Ministry of Health and Social Protection urged citizens to continue to respect social distancing measures.
