A 73-year-old patient with COVID-19 died on Monday night at the Shefqet Ndroqi hospital last night, bringing the total number of deaths to 29 in Albania.
The individual had been hospitalised for one month due to respiratory complications, according to the Ministry of Health. In addition to COVID-19, the individual from Durres suffered from pneumonia, thalassemia, and hypertension.
Some 57% of all confirmed cases of Coronavirus have recovered- 422 out of 736 as of yesterday. There are currently 286 active cases of the virus in the country.
