Another patient diagnosed with COVID-19 has lost their life, bringing the total to 31.
The 71-year-old had been in a critical state for one month and died at the Shefqet Ndroqi hospital last night. The Ministry of Health said that they had been suffering from acute respiratory failure, pneumonia, diabetes, heart failure, hypertension, and anaemia.
31 people have died from the virus so far, out of a total of 766 cases in the country.
16 new cases were confirmed yesterday after 270 tests were carried out in the previous 24 hours.
