Six new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Albania during the last 24 hours. This brings the total number of cases to 795.
The Institute of Public Health announced that 67 percent of the infected have recovered, 531 people in total.
The six new cases were found in Tirana (1), Kruja and Kurbin. The Institute did not clarify the distribution of five cases in Kruja and Kurbin. Some 171 tests on suspected cases were carried out in the last 24 hours, 8866 in total.
In addition to the 531 recovered, 31 have died and 233 are considered active cases. At the moment, 33 cases are hospitalized, seven of which are in intensive care.
The geographical distribution of active patients is as follows: Tirana (331), Shkodra (110), Kruja (110+), Durres (42), Lushnje (7), Elbasan (18), Fier (37), Kavaje (9), Rrugozhine (4), Korce (19), Vlore (5), Lezhe (14), Berat (4), Has (14), Tropoje (4), Puke (5), Mirdite (5), Kukes (19), Mallakaster (1), Kurbin (31+), Mat (1).
