The public administration portal, launched in Albania as part of a Council of Europe / Swiss Development Cooperation-funded project for good governance has been aiding in managing the coronavirus crisis in the country.
The portal was originally aimed to unify human resource management procedures and improve communication within Albania’s public administration.
During the coronavirus pandemic, the public administration was able to use this portal as a virtual workspace to enhance communication and interaction, coordinate work from home, and help administration workers adapt to new working conditions. The platform has also facilitated performance reviews and disciplinary action at a time when physical supervision is impossible due to social distancing measures put in place.
