20 new cases of COVID-19 have been found in Albania during the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the pandemic to 1184.
Over 16,000 tests have been conducted since the beginning of March.
76% of those affected, or 898 people have recovered.
According to the Institute of Public Health, the new cases have been found in Tirana (15), Durrës (2), Kruja (2), and Kamzav (1).
There are currently 21 patients hospitalized with the virus and five are in intensive care.
253 cases are still active in the country, mainly in Tirana, Durres, Kruja, and Shkodra.
The geographical distribution of active cases is as follows: Tirana (172), Durrës (15), Kruja (22), Shkodra (10), Berat (2), Kamza (12), Mat (9), Lushnja (6), Fier (2), Korça (1), Librazhd (1), Mallakastra (1).
