Public transport has resumed in Shkodra and Korca as of today.
The Shkodra Interurban Transport Association announced they will start work at 6am and finish at 5pm. In both cities, the associations have promised to start work by implementing security protocols recommended by the Ministry of Health.
On Tuesday, Health Minister Ogerta Manastirliu announced that restrictions on public transport would be lifted. She did not state what this means or when transport would resume.
She did, however, state that measures such as the mandatory wearing of masks would be in place.
Other transport companies including those in Tirana have protested and refused to work unless the government meets a number of demands.
