Albania Coronavirus Update, 13 April: 23 Dead, 232 Recovered, 21 New Cases, 467 in Total

In Albania, 21 people with COVID-19 were detected in the last 24 hours bringing the total number to 467.

Among them is one doctor and two are children. The children are said to be without symptoms and in good health.

A total of 15 patients were cured in the last 24 hours bringing the total number of recoveries to 232. The death toll stands at 23.

43 people are hospitalised in the Infectious Diseases Hospital, seven are in intensive care, two are intubated. In the Shefqet Ndroqi, there are nine hospitalised patients, seven in intensive care, and five intubated.

The Institute of Public Health announced that the map of those affected by COVID-19 in 24 hours has expanded in Tirana, Shkodra, Durres and Has.

In the last 24 hours, 193 people were tested, while a total of 4070 cases were tested, and were confirmed. The geographical distribution of cases is as follows:

Tirana (221), Durres (42), Lushnje (6), Elbasan (15), Fier (32), Kavaja (8), Rrogozhina (4), Korca (17), Vlora (5), Shkodra (70), Lezhe (14), Berat (2), Has (13), Kruja (6), Tropoja (4), Puka (5), Mirdita (3).

The Ministry of Health and Social Protection urged citizens continued to respect social distancing meaures.
