Albania has reported 21 new cases of Coronavirus today, bringing the total to 539.
The number of those recovered has reached 283, with 6 people recovered in the last 24 hours.
The 21 new cases were found in Tirana (4), Shkoder (11), Kruje (4) and Kurbin (2). The two cases from Kurbin are the first reported from the city.
During the previous day, 253 suspected cases were tested, 5080 in total.
There are 43 inpatients at the two hospitals that are treating COVID-19 patients in the country; 11 are in intensive care, 3 of them are intubated.
The geographical distribution of cases as of April 16 is as follows: Tirana (245), Durres (42), Lushnje (6), Elbasan (16), Fier (35), Kavaja (9), Rrogozhine (4), Korce (19), Vlore (5), Shkoder (94), Lezhe (14), Berat (2), Has (13), Kruje (11), Tropoje (4), Puke (5), Mirdite (3), Kukes (9), Mallakaster (1), Kurbin (2).
