Four people infected with COVID-19 have died in Albania in the last 24 hours. A 57-year old from Vlora and three citizens from Tirana: a 68-year old, an 80-year old, and an 82-year old succumbed to the virus, bringing the total number of victims to 238.
155 new cases have been found, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the pandemic to 7967, the Ministry of Health reported.
About half of the new cases were found in Tirana (77).
58 people have recovered, bringing the total to 3986.
Over 50,000 people have been tested since March, including serological (antibody) tests.
There are currently 121 patients hospitalized with the virus, 19 are in intensive care, 7 are intubated in aggravated condition.
