Two people infected with COVID-19 have died in Albania in the last 24 hours. A 61-year-old man from Korca and a 83-year-old man from Mirdita succumbed to the virus, bringing the total number of victims to 240.
152 new cases have been found, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the pandemic to 8119, the Ministry of Health reported.
About half of the new cases were found in Tirana (73).
110 people have recovered, bringing the total to 4096.
There are currently 137 patients hospitalized with the virus, 24 are in intensive care, 7 are intubated in aggravated condition.
