The Ministry of Health has announced the ninth victim from Covid-19 in Albania.
The 52-year-old woman from Vlora was hospitalized on Monday but her condition deteriorated in the last two days and she was put under intensive care.
The ministry reported she suffered from high blood pressure, and on Friday succumbed to complications aggravated by coronavirus.
Nine people have died in Albania from Covid-19 so far, and 31 of the 186 infected have recovered.
