23 new cases of COVID-19 have been found in Albania during the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the pandemic to 1122.
Over 15,000 tests have been conducted since the beginning of March.
77% of those affected, or 857 people have recovered.
According to the Institute of Public Health, all the new cases have been found in Tirana (16), Lushnja (2), Mat (2), Durrës (1), Kruja (1), and Librazhd (1).
There are currently 26 patients hospitalized with the virus and four are in intensive care.
232 cases are still active in the country, mainly in Tirana, Durres, Kruja, and Shkodra.
The geographical distribution of active cases is as follows: Tirana (121), Durrës (43), Kruja (17), Shkodra (11), Berat (2), Kamza (9), Mat (8), Lushnja (6) Fier (2), Korça (1).
