Albania has reported 10 new cases of COVID-19 confirmed over the last 24 hours.
These latest cases bring the overall total to 842 since the pandemic started.
The new cases were found in Tiranë (3), Krujë (3), Kamëz (2), Shkodër (2).
72 percent of the infected have recovered, 605 in total, and there are 206 active cases.
Tests were conducted on 275 people suspected of being infected; 9806 in total since the pandemic started.
36 infected patients are hospitalized and seven remain in intensive care. The rest are being monitored by the family doctor or are asymptomatic.
The geographical distribution of active cases is as follows: Tirana (349), Kruja (122), Shkoder (114), Durres (42), Lushnje (7), Elbasan (18), Fier (40), Kavaje (9), Rrogozhine (4), Korce (19), Vlore (5), Lezhe (14), Berat (4), Has (14), Tropoje (4), Puke (5), Mirdite (5), Kukes (19), Mallakaster (1), Kurbin (31), Mat (1), Kamez (8).
A total of 31 people have lost their lives to COVID-19, 18 in Tirana, 6 in Durres, 3 in Fier, 1 in Vlora, 2 in Shkoder, and 1 in Kukes.
