13 new cases of COVID-19 have been found in Albania during the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the pandemic to 1197.
Over 17,000 tests have been conducted since the beginning of March.
75% of those affected, or 898 people have recovered.
According to the Institute of Public Health, the new cases have been found in Tirana (11), Kruja (1), and Shkodra (1). Three of the infected cases are medical staff.
There are currently 23 patients hospitalized with the virus and five are in intensive care.
266 cases are still active in the country, mainly in Tirana, Durres, Kruja, and Shkodra.
The geographical distribution of active cases is as follows: Tirana (183), Durrës (15), Kruja (22), Shkodra (10), Berat (2), Kamza (12), Mat (9), Lushnja (6), Fier (2), Korça (1), Librazhd (1), Mallakastra (1).
