The Institute of Public Health has announced 28 new cases of Coronavirus in Albania, bringing the total to 174.
Eugena Tomini broke the news this morning during a press conference. She said that out of 103 tests performed in the last 24 hours, 28 were confirmed. 1144 tests have been carried out since the pandemic started.
To date, there have been six deaths. The death of a 71-year-old was announced last night.
73 of the patients are hospitalised in the Infectious Diseases Hospital in Tirana, three are in intensive care and two are intubated. The remaining cases are at home in a stable condition.
In terms of the areas of the country affected by the virus, Tropoja has now been added to the map.

Tirana: 102 cases
Durres: 10 cases
Lushnje: 4 cases
Elbasan: 5 cases
Rrogozhine: 2 cases
Fier: 18 cases
Kavaje: 4 cases
Korca: 11 cases
Vlore: 5 cases
Shkoder: 3 cases
Lezhe: 4 cases
Berat: 1 case
Has: 2 cases
Kruje: 1 case
Tropoja: 2 cases
